The Annual Australian Gas Turbines Conference is designed as a platform to discuss the latest technologies and expected developments for the industry; the event aims to bring together industry leaders to examine key topics.
Last year’s event was attended by 90 representatives from across the gas turbines and energy sector. Delegates converged in Melbourne for a jam packed two day program. Highlights from 2012 included a detailed case study from Mladenko Tunjic and Wim Belgraver of Stanwell Corporation on the ‘3rd major overhaul of the GT26 at Swanbank Power Station’ and Peter Holley from Delta Electricity delivering a frank and candid case study on experience dealing with ‘foreign object damage at Colongra Power Station’.
Attendees also had the opportunity to network with peers, meet new contacts and discuss the day’s program during the networking breaks in the conference exhibition area.
