Increasing water production is a major challenge for oil & gas operators worldwide, in fact it is currently three times greater as compared to the amount of the oil produced.
With global average water cuts of 75% and rapidly increasing, the performance of produced water treatment systems is often critical for oil production. Reliable measurements of produced water are important for monitoring the water treatment process and towards protecting our environment from produced water discharge impacts. Although a number of instruments have been designed, problems continue to persist.
The 7th Global Produced Water Management Workshop hosted by Praxis Global Research looks into tackling surface and sub-surface issues resulting from Produced Water. The global event will primarily focus on tackling problems and challenges associated with Produced Water Treatment, Handling, Reinjection and Discharge.
