The impacts of unconventional gas development in the US has resulted in widespread benefits with a sharp increase in investment and millions of jobs being created, in addition to consolidating supply security which has enabled exports of surplus resources. Against this backdrop, recent indications reveal that much of Europe, China, India and the Middle East have significant unconventional gas potential with more than 50 shale wells being drilled in Poland being an early example of this promise being fulfilled.

SMi Group’s sixth Unconventional Gas conference will address how to best take advantage of this resource with case studies from an array of Oil and Gas companies providing unique insights into their own experiences and what lessons have been learnt from Statoil, BP, Reach Coal Seam Gas, Breitling Oil and Gas, and TPAO.
