StatoilHydro exercises its options on service and support contracts

21-07-08 StatoilHydro has exercised options on a number of maintenance, modification, service and support contracts sealed with Aker Solutions and Aker Reinertsen for work off Norway.
Aker Solutions will continue to work at in the Tampen area until 2011 under a NOK 2.5 bn ($ 492.5 mm) extension, while work at the Troll B, Troll C and Brage platforms will continue until 2010 and is valued at NOK 250 mm.

Aker Reinertsen will continue to carry out the same work in the Halten/Nordland area under a NOK 900 mm option which extends its contract until 2011.
The contracts for maintenance, modifications, service and support work on all Tampen and Halten/Nordland platforms were awarded in 2002, with the firm period of the contract expiring in 2007.

Options to extend for three two-year periods were included in the contracts.
The Troll B, Troll C and Brage contract was awarded in 2006.
