ANP to allow third parties access to oil facilities
07-04-00 The Brazilian national oil agency ANP will launch until the end of this year a new regulation that will enable third parties to have free access to Petrobras' and private oil distributors' oil pipelines network and water transportation terminals. Petrobras and the private companies will still have preference over those facilities, and will receive payment for the use by third parties. Petrobras' Paulinia (Sao Paulo)-Brasilia oil pipeline, for instance, presently operates at idle capacity.
