15-01-09 BG T&T and its partners Petroleum Company of T&T (Petrotrin), ENI and Petro-Canada announced the safe delivery of first gas from their Poinsettia Field development via their newly installed 20-inch pipeline connecting the Poinsettia field to the Hibiscus platform and on to Atlantic LNG.
The Poinsettia field is operated by BG T&T and is located about 40 km off Trinidad's north coast in the North Coast Marine Area (NCMA).

President and asset general manager of BG T&T, Derek Hudson, said "Despite experiencing hurricanes and bad weather during the platform installation, the project has been brought on stream, on schedule and within budget to continue to meet supply demands to Atlantic LNG, the leading supplier of LNG to the USA."
