09-02-09 MAN Ferrostaal received an order from Trinidad Generation Unlimited (TGU) to build a 760 MW, $ 700 mm gas and steam power plant in Trinidad.
MAN Ferrostaal's contract is on a full engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis. The 30-month project is slated to come online in mid 2011.

The new plant will consist of six gas and two steam turbines.
The project will increase the total installed power capacity of Trinidad and Tobago by about 50 %.
