Shell wins permit for first LNG depot in Gulf of Mexico
21-02-05 The Royal Dutch-Shell Group of Companies announced it won a US Maritime Administration permit to construct a LNG-terminal terminal in the Gulf of Mexico.
The terminal, which would be the first for LNG operated by Shell, is expected to be operating by 2010 at a cost of $ 700 mm, according to the company’s spokesman. It will have the capacity for as much as 1 bn cfpd of gas.
