Yukos to spend 4.8 bn rubles developing oil fields in 2000
06-01-00 Russian oil company Yukos said it intends to spend 4.8 bn rubles on developing its oil fields this year. A Yukos spokesman said the funds would come from the company's own resources. "Most of the money, about 2.9 bn rubles, will be allocated to the development of the West Siberian Priobskoye oil field," the spokesman told.
He said the company also planned to begin developing new fields, such as Zapadno-Malabalykskoye and Igolsko-Talovoye. "We will direct over 200 mm rubles to the development of these fields in January and February," the spokesman said.
