08-02-02 The final results of tenders contested by Russian and foreign companies wishing to take part in the final stage of comprehensive development of oil and gas deposits as part of the Sakhalin-II project will be announced in October 2002. This statement was made at a meeting of the Sakhalin-II supervisory board.
Tender proposals will be considered in April this year.

In 2002, oil output on the Molikpak platform will be lowered from 15 mm barrels of oil to ten, because the platform will be upgraded for large-scale natural gas production.
