Rosneft wants to sell Far Eastern deposits through international tenders
19-04-01 Rosneft has proposed that offshore deposits in the Far Eastern seas be put on an international tender. Seismic studies conducted in the Sea of Okhotsk and the Bering Sea since 1975 have shown the existence of 3 bn ton oil reserves (estimated at $ 500 bn in current prices) and 7.5 tcm of gas.
The development of these deposits will enable a complex with an output capacity of 70 mm tons of oil and 150 bn cmpy of gas, which will make it possible to boost exports to Asian states.
