11-06-08 CNPC announced on Jun. 10 that it had signed an all-round cooperative agreement with China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation (CECIC) for establishing strategic partnership and evading risks from external investments.
CNPC and CECIC both expressed that they will strengthen the cooperation on external economic activities such as exploring external oil and gas fields and project contracting.

The two companies will take full advantage of export credit insurance to realize the organic combination and accelerate mutual development of the oil and gas industry and finance and insurance industry, the sources said.
Founded in 2001, China Export & Credit Insurance Corporation (CECIC) is the country's first policy-oriented export credit insurance firm.
