12-06-08 China BlueChemical, sister company of CNOOC, has signed a contract with the local government of Baotou City for a 3.6 mm tpy coal-methanol project in Baotou, Inner Mongolia.
The project is expected to cost a total of yuan 4.5 bn and has a registered capital of yuan 1.5 bn.

It is CNOOC Group's first coal chemical project, according to an earlier report.
