25-06-08 Qatar’s Ras Laffan Liquefied Natural Gas Company (RasGas) has shipped its first cargo of liquefied natural gas to Taiwan’s CPC Corporation as part of a long term supply deal.
The deal, which was signed in 2005, allows for the delivery of up to 3 mm tpy of LNG to CPC.

In recent years, RasGas has supplied about 1 mm tons of Qatari LNG to CPC on a spot basis.
The lot was loaded on to a RasGas vessel sub-chartered to CPC.
