16-02-09 India's Oil and Natural Gas Corp. (ONGC) has signed a memorandum of understanding with oilfield services company Weatherford International to enhance production from mature fields.
Weatherford and ONGC will work together on near term production enhancement solutions, optimization of reservoirs and production systems, recovery and production optimization, reservoir management, marginal field development, logging services, data and information management and deepwater exploration and exploitation.

ONGC Chairman and Managing Director R.S. Sharma said that the memorandum covered a large area of projects and would improve overall well economics for ONGC.
