Waertsilae to deliver electric power equipment in Brazil

25-03-02 The Finish company Waertsilae is to deliver the first three motors for thermal electric power facilities in Brazil by mid April 2002. The company will deliver 30 equipment with a capacity of 500 MW.
The business might generate a turnover of $ 300 mm. In 2001, the company turned over $ 40 mm in Brazil. The new thermal electric power plants will be constructed in Recife (Pernambuco).
