24-04-02 The Norwegian engineering and construction group Kvaerner has received new contracts to the value of $ 12 mm in China. Kvaerner received a contract for engineering design, engineering and project management support, and process equipment in connection with a new-build floating, production, storage and offloading facility (FPSO) for Devon Energy China's Panyu oilfield in the South China Sea.
The project is to be executed jointly by Kvaerner Process Systems (Malaysia), Kvaerner E&C (Singapore) and China Offshore Oil Engineering. Kvaerner also received a contract for the detailed design of the Panyu 4-2 and Panyu 5-1 wellhead platforms, and the interconnecting pipeline system.
This contract is to be carried out by Kvaerner's Singapore office.
