18-04-02 Brazilian shipyard Promar has signed contracts worth $ 72 mm to build nine oil platform support vessels (PSV) for three companies. The companies are Norskan do Brasil, Alfanave and Mare Alta, and are carrying out contracts for federal energy company Petrobras.
Promar has until February 2004 to complete the work.
Promar has a shipyard in the municipality of Niteroi dedicated to construction, conversion, modernization and repair jobs in the naval and offshore area, as well as engineering services related to fixed and floating oil drilling and/or production platforms, offshore supporting vessels and other floating equipment.
