Interpipe Corporation signs contract with Uzenmunaigaz

15-05-02 The Interpipe Corporation has signed a contract with the Uzenmunaigaz company for the supply of oil pipe branches and compressor pump pipes to the Uzen oil deposit in Kazakhstan.
Interpipe will supply about 4,500 tons of pipes and 400 oil pipe branches manufactured by Crossover of the United States, under the Uzen deposit rehabilitation program, which is financed with a $ 109 mm World Bank loan.

The Uzen oil deposit situated in the southern Mangistau region, Kazakhstan, has primary geological reserves of 1.054 bn tons of oil. The rehabilitation program aims to boost local oil yield to an annual 7 mm tons by 2005.
