Estaleiro Maua to build 2 oil rigs for Petrobras

09-04-99 The Estaleiro Maua shipyard, based in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil will build 2 oil rigs for Petrobras. The deal is worth $ 400 mm and the equipment will be delivered within a 24-month term.
The 2 oil rigs will help Petrobras produce oil in Campos, State of Rio de Janeiro.
The Rio de Janeiro-based shipyards are responsible for 95 % of the national ship building business. At present they earn $ 150 mm to provide repairing services.
