CNPC Dagang oilfield finds new industrial oil and gas flows

16-09-09 The CNPC Dagang oilfield in Tianjin has found industrial oil and gas flows in nine new wells, laying a foundation for the oilfield to increase its oil and gas production. Dagang oilfield selected 28 wells for drilling in the Qikou sag and industrial flows were found in nine of them, promising production potential in the sag.
The new Binhai-6 well in the sag is able to produce 12,692 cm of natural gas daily, and the new Binshen 3-1 well in the Binhai-1 block can drill 123,600 cm of natural gas a day, both providing the basis of production growth for the Dagang oilfield.

From January to the end of August the Dagang oilfield produced 2.91 mm tons of oil, accounting for 43.7 % of CNPC's total oil production. Its natural gas output, at 312,130 cm, only takes up 0.8 % of the CNPC total.
CNPC is the parent company of PetroChina.
