OGDCL finds more reserves in Pakistan's Nashpa well

15-09-09 Further to a previous announcement in early September, the Pakistan Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has discovered more oil and natural gas with its Nashpa-1 exploration well, drilled in Karak district in NWFP.
The well has now flowed 4,200-barrel oil and 17 mm cfpd of natural gas per day OGDC officials have told, upgrading the original Nashpa-1 well announcement. Earlier, 3000 barrels of oil and 9.7 mm cfpd gas had been discovered from the same place on August 31, 2009.

Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) and Government Holding Petroleum are jointly working on this discovery.
The block is situated in a highly prospective area, where Tal Block has already proved to be the largest discovery of the decade.
