03-09-02 IT companies like, SAP, Logica, Cognos, MRO and Quest Software have been entering several contracts with oil companies. Such contracts already represent 30 % of the total and the clients listing includes Petrobras, Shell, Esso and Ipiranga.
The flagship of the German SAP is the mySAP Oil&Gas. The company, with more than 10 clients in Brazil, is followed by Logica, with the Maps and Prodis.

The US Quest Software posted a turnover of $ 3.5 mm in Brazil, 20 % coming from oil companies. The company expects business to increase 15 % this year. Its main client is the oil major Petrobras, which operates with the Spotlight and LiveReorg.
