Norway reports on gas output

07-05-03 Norway's gas output in March rose to 7.1 bn cm from 6.3 bn cm in February, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate said. Output was also higher than 4.87 bn cm that flowed in March 2002.
Highest output in March was from the Statoil/Norsk Hydro Troll field which flowed 2.81 bn cm, up from 2.70 bn cm the month before.

Statoil's Sleipner Ost was next biggest with flows of 1.28 bn cm, up from 1.14 bn cm in Feb. Statoil's Asgard almost doubled output to 1.01 bn cm from 550 mm cm the month before while Norsk Hydro's Oseberg was the next biggest producer at 405 mm cm, down from 419 mm cm.
NGL output rose to 209,000 bpd from 184,000 bpd the month before and the year before figure of 181,000 bpd. Condensate output rose to 243,000 bpd from 207,000 bpd in Feb. and 146,000 bpd in Mar. 2002. Norwegian crude output in March fell to 2.997 mm bpd from 3.027 mm bpd in February.
