29-10-00 Yemen has signed a co-operation accord with UAE in an effort to be recognised in the oil industry. Yemen wants UAE companies to invest in its oil exploration and a conference will be organised shortly to promote the same. US company Western Geophysical has been signed up for conducting seismic surveys in deep-sea areas.
