Uzbekistan reports on oil and gas production
30-06-04 According to the information given by the State Statistics Committee of Uzbekistan 2.928 mm tons of oil were produced by oil refineries in January-May 2004 that by 1.2 % lower than in the accounting period of 2003.
The primary oil distillation increased by 2 % and made 2.366 mm tons of oil. The production of gasoline reduced by 9.2 % up to 541,900 tons, kerosene by 8.2 % up to 145,100 tons, stove fuel by 6.3 % up to 577,900 tons. The production of diesel motor increased by 11.3 % up to 663,000 tons.
Natural gas production increased by 6 % up to 25.362 bn cm for the first five months in Uzbekistan. Gas extraction increased by 5.3 % up to 17.756 bn cm, liquefied gas production by 28.6 % up to 79,200 tons at the factories of Uzbekneftegaz NCC. Uzbekneftegaz NCC provides the production of natural gas in volume of 57-58 bn cm and liquid hydrocarbons -- 8 mm tpy. The production of oil and gas condensate reduced by 0.9 % up to 7.134 mm tons. Gas production reduced by 0.3 % up to 57.481 bn cm in
2003.
