22-07-04 The Georgian Environment Ministry has suspended the construction of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline for two weeks in order to check the fulfilment of conditions for environmental protection. According to the ministry, the terms of the implementation of this project have been violated.
The completion of constructing the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline is scheduled for the end of 2004.
