28-08-08 Kyrgyzstan plans to buy natural gas from Uzbekistan for at least $ 300 per 1,000 cm in 2009, Akylbek Tumenbaev the deputy minister of industry, energy and fuel resources of Kyrgyzstan said during a meeting with businessmen.
The gas supply agreement will be signed in late November-early December 2008.

Kyrgyzstan has exported 500 mm kWh of electricity as a pre-payment in exchange for Kazakh coal and Uzbek gas.
The payment for gas is calculated out of the price paid by Russia to Turkmenistan.
