04-01-02 Pakistan's Petroleum Ministry invited bids for exploration rights to Block No 2668-5 (South West Miano) in Zone III, Sindh Province and Block No 2668-6 (Sawan East) in Zone III Sindh Province, according to an announcement by the ministry. Bid documents can be obtained from the office of the Director General Petroleum Concessions and have to be submitted by Feb 4, 2002.

The successful applicant will be selected in accordance with the provisions of the Pakistan Petroleum (Exploration and Production) Rules, 2001. The successful bidder has to make a geological survey, the ministry said.
