China's crude oil output reaches 110.5 mm tons in first 7 months

03-09-08 According to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), China's oil output of the first 7 months this year was 110.5 mm tons, which is 2.2 % higher than the same period last year.
In July, the crude oil output is 5 % higher than last July, and the increasing rate is 3.7 % higher than this June; the processed output of crude oil is 8.8 % higher than last July, and the increasing rate is 3.6 % higher than this June; the output of petrol and diesel oil are 6.6 % and 13 % higher than last July. The output of natural gas is 11.5 % higher than last July and decreased by 3 % than this June.

From this January to July, China imported 104.32 mm tons of crude oil, 8.3 % higher than the same period last year. A total of 200.36 mm tons of crude oil, 5.8 % higher than last same period, had been processed. The output of natural gas increased 14.3 % to reach 44.1 bn cm.
In the main chemical products, ethane's output increased by 2.7 %, sodium hydroxide and calcined soda increased by 12.3 % and 14.6 % respectively; the output of fertilizer and agriculture chemicals rose by 6 % and 21.5 % than the same period of last year.
