Finnish tanker collides with German Sub

Feb. 3, 1997 A Finnish tanker carrying crude oil and a German submarine collided recently in the Baltic Sea between Denmark and Germany. No one was injured and no oil leaked in the collision south of Denmark's Langeland island, according to Neste, the Finnish company that owns the tanker, Natura. The submarine reported some damage to its radio antenna and radar mast, said Neste. Both vessels were able to proceed.
