GasAndes pipeline starts delivery in August

July 1, 1997 In August the GasAndes gas pipeline connecting Mendoza - Santiago will start delivery The project started construction in October 1995, and was completed three months ahead of the scheduling. It has capacity to transport 10 mm m3 per day of gas, representing an annual income of $ 300 mm. GasAndes is controlled by Novacorp, Techint, CGC, Lone Star, Santa Fe Energy, Duke Power, BHP, Gasco, Copec, Chilgener. The pipeline with 467 km length costed initial investments of $ 325 mm, and is sourced by Neuquen gas reserves.
