Jan. 6, 1998 Danish Underground Consortium's (DUC) oil and gas production from its North Sea fields rose 11 and 22 % respectively in 1997 compared to the previous year, according to operator A.P Moeller.
It said that oil production totalled 11.4 million tonnes in 1997, or 230,000 bpd, with gas production for the whole year at 7.0 bn cubic metres.
The 1996 production figures were 10.3 mm tonnes oil and 5.7 bn cubic metres gas.
