Afghanistan.
A Taliban official responsible for mines and industries Ahmed Jan is reported to have signed the agreement with the
Greek company, CCC, after four days of negotiations.
Under the agreement, the CCC company would soon start oil and gas exploration in Afghanistan's Herat province.
Recently, a delegation from the U.S., European countries and South Africa also visited the war-ravaged country to
explore the possibilities of investment in different fields, particularly in the fields of communication, mines and
oil and gas.
