Tajikistan imported 156,000 tonnes of oil products in first half 1999

Tajikistan imported 156,181 tonnes of oil products (tonne=7.33 barrels) in the sum of $ 26.7 mm between January and June.
The Commonwealth of Independent States accounted for 97.3 % of the delivery, the national statistics agency under the government of the republic said.
The main CIS oil importers to the republic in the period were Uzbekistan -- 113,995.7 tonnes ($ 18.1 mm), Turkmenia -- 22,860 tonnes ($ 4.8 mm) and Russia -- 13,090 tonnes. Another 3,282 tonnes of oil products at $ 727,523 were imported outside the CIS.
