The value of Yukos' investment program for 2000 is estimated at more than 11 billion rubles, of which 8.35 billion rubles will be invested in oil production. These figures were disclosed at a recent session of the company's management board.
Before the end of this year, all the company's subsidiaries must present it with workable investment plans for next year. If no suitable projects are presented, the money will go to repay the company's credits before term.
In 1999, the share of the company's exports outside the CIS in its total exports climbed from 33% to 37%. This year, investments in oil production by Yukos are expected to reach 1.7 billion rubles.
