Duma passes law on use of natural gas as motor fuel

The Russian State Duma passed the law On the Use of Natural Gas as Motor Fuel in the wording of the conciliation commission. Initially, the law was passed by the State Duma on June 2 and rejected by the Federation Council on June 9, 1999. The law sets forth the legal basis for the use of natural gas as motor fuel and the principles of state regulation of conversion to natural gas. .
