Gazprom to build gas pipeline from Iran to Armenia

Gazprom is prepared to supply pipes and the requisite equipment to build a gas pipeline between Iran and Armenia, Roland Adonts, executive director of the Russian-Armenian joint venture Armrosgazprom, said. The supplies are expected to cover 60% of the total project cost, estimated at $ 120 million.
The pipeline is to be built by a consortium of Gazprom, the Armenian Energy Ministry and possibly Gaz De France and the Iranian National Gas Company.
