Pemex earns over $ 8 bn from internal oil sale first half of 2000

Aug 03, 2000 02:00 AM

Mexico's Pemex earned $ 8.5 bn from selling oil products in the country's internal market during the first half of 2000.
This amount represents almost two-thirds of the income earned during all of 1999, and one of the main reasons for this situation is the monthly increase applied to the main fuels, such as natural gas, gasoline and diesel among others.
Gasoline alone produced $ 3.5 bn, while in 1999 it produced $ 4.6 bn.
