Intergraph and Technip sign Global Strategic Supplier Agreement

The Process & Building Solutions division of Intergraph Corporation and Technip have signed a Global Strategic Supplier Agreement. Under terms of the three-year agreement, Intergraph Process & Building Solutions will supply integrated life cycle engineering software to Technip and its global affiliates throughout Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia. Technip engineers will use the software to support the global engineering, design, construction and start up of process and power plants, with emphasis on a variety of petroleum and petrochemical projects.
The Technip Global Strategic Supplier Agreement covers the Intergraph Plant Design System (PDS), the SmartPlant family and related software. For more than 20 years, engineers world-wide have used Intergraph PDS for 2D and 3D design, construction, operation and maintenance of process and power plants.
SmartPlant software includes SmartPlant P&ID for creating intelligent piping and instrumentation diagrams; SmartSketch for cost-effective 2D design; SmartPlant Review for 3D visualisation; and SmartPlant Explorer for Web access and reporting of plant data. Additional software covered by the agreement includes INtools for instrumentation life cycle engineering.
