Gas Authority of India to complete LPG pipeline ahead of schedule.

Gas Authority of India Ltd. (GAIL) plans to complete its 1230 km LPG pipeline from Jamnagar in Gujarat to Loni near India's capital city Delhi, by October ahead of the February 2001 schedule.
The pipeline is designed to carry 1.70 mm tpy of LPG, the statement said.
So far 85 % of the project has been completed with 1100 km of the pipeline is place, the statement said.
The pipeline will supply about 450,000 tpy of LPG will be supplied to three state-owned refining and marketing companies -- Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), Bharat Petroleum Corp. Ltd. (BPCL) or Hindustan Petroleum Corp. Ltd. (HPCL) --.
