Russian Energy Ministry reports on oil output in June

Russia's Energy Ministry reported last week that crude oil and gas condensate output had risen in June by about 5.62% year-on-year.
Some 26.3 mm tons of oil and condensate was extracted in June, the ministry said, up from 24.9 mm tons in the same month of 1999.
It noted that LUKoil had been the largest producer in June, with an output of 5.06 mm tons of oil. Yukos came in second with 4.03 mm tons, followed by Surgutneftegaz with 3.3 mm tons, Tatneft with 2.02 mm tons, TNK with 2 mm tons, Sibneft with 1.38 mm tons, Rosneft with 1.1 mm tons and Slavneft with 1 mm tons.
Next came Bashneft with 990,000 tons, Sidanko with 890,000 tons, Gazprom with 820,000 tons, Onako with 620,000 tons and the Eastern Oil Company (VNK) with 20,000 tons. Various small producers extracted another 3.07 mm tons of oil in the month of June, the ministry stated.
It noted that in June of 1999, LUKoil had extracted 4.38 mm tons of oil, followed by Surgutneftegaz, with 3.1 mm tons. Next came Yukos with 2.79 mm tons, Tatneft with 1.99 mm tons, Sidanko and Tyumenneft (TNK) with 1.6 mm tons each, Sibneft with 1.35 mm tons and Rosneft and Bashneft with 1 mm tons each. Slavneft, meanwhile, produced 980,000 tons, VNK 830,000 tons, Gazprom 800,000 tons and Onako 670,000 tons. Small oil producers accounted for another 2.81 mm tons in June of 1999.
