The Russian Energy Ministry reported last week that the volume of oil exported through Russia to non-CIS markets had risen by 22.8% in the month of June. The amount of crude oil exported from Russia in June came to 12.162 mm tons, the ministry said.
It added that shipments of Azerbaijani, Belarusian and Kazakhstani oil accounted for more than 1.188 mm tons of total exports; Russian oil accounted for the remaining 10.974 mm tons.
Of the Russian oil, major producers exported 8.476 mm tons in June while Gazprom and small producers exported more than 1.306 tons. State-needs programs accounted for another 105,400 tons of Russia's total exports, while foreign joint venture operators exported another 763,800 tons.
Most of the oil -- 11.84 mm tons -- passed through the Russian pipeline network, while the remaining 322,000 tons was transported by rail or sent directly to port.
