Russian export duties on crude oil, oil products and fuel oil to be increased

Export duties on crude oil, oil products and fuel oil will be increased in Russia as of 2nd August, according to a State Customs Committees official. The export duties levied on crude oil and oil products will amount to 27 euros ($ 25) a ton. On liquid fuels (fuel oil), the duty will be 20 euros ($ 18.5) a ton.
Duties will apply to export outside the Customs Union, which includes Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstanand Tajikistan. Previously, the duties were 20 euros per ton of crude and 12 euros per ton of fuel oil.
