AES Uruguaiana faces difficulties

The first Brazilian natural gas thermal power facility is facing difficulties due to the variation of exchange market. AES Uruguaiana, the owner of the plant, has its costs increased and its transmission lines do not support the transport of 600 MW.
AES is searching for alternatives to solve the problem, informed its officer Mr Mark Green. The facility requires $ 445 mm investment.
