During the meeting in Tokyo for discussion of a number of bilateral economic projects the chairman of the Accounting Chamber of the Russian Federation, Sergey Stepashin, and his Japanese colleague, Tsutom Sugiura, have solved the problem of realization of joint checks by accounting chambers of Russia and Japan.
After returning to Moscow the Accounting Chamber of Russia will direct to Japan specific proposals on realization of checks concerning projects of "Sakhalin-1" and "Sakhalin-2" on development of oil-and-gas resources on the island of Sakhalin.

The second important direction of cooperation is investment programs of Japan in Russia. Russian side will present specific proposals to Japan in the near future.
The third central direction of cooperation of accounting chambers of two countries, which was discussed, is control of deliveries of seafoods from Russia to Japan.
