North West Shelf partners sign LNG supply contract with Shizuoka

Woodside Petroleum said the North West Shelf partners have signed a 24-year supply contract with Japan's Shizuoka Gas for the supply of LNG, which is the sixth largest gas company in Japan, selling 70 % of its gas to industrial customers in the Shizuoka and Fuji areas.
The first delivery is scheduled for 2005.

According to the signed agreement the yearly volumes will vary over the period, but will peak at 135,000 tpy. The terms of delivery are agreed to be FOB shipment.
The main participants of the North West Shelf are BHP Billiton, BP, Shell, ChevronTexaco and Japan Australia LNG.
