IMF advises Russia to take super profit from oil

Experts of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) consider, that from the high prices for petroleum the Russian state should receive super profit. Therefore experts of the fund have offered the Ministry of Finance to correct the formula of calculation of the rate of the tax on minerals extraction.

The mission of IMF studying results of the Russian tax reform has finished work. In growth of the world prices there is no merit of the petroleum companies, considers IMF. Recommendations of the fund with the offered formula of calculation of the tax will be ready in several days.
The Ministry of Finance supports the idea to take from oilmen more taxes. Oilmen categorically disagree to give the income of the high prices to the state.
