Pertamina to increase crude oil production

State-owned oil company PT Pertamina has set a target of crude oil production at 140.64 mm bpd of oil in 2004 and 161.53 mm bpd in 2005, an executive said.
Ariffi Nawawi, the company’s president director, said his side had also set a target of fuel oil production at 62.1 mm kiloliters in 2004 and 64.3 mm kiloliters in 2005.

In a hearing with the House of Representatives (DPR)`s Commission VIII for mining and energy matters here, he said the crude and fuel oil production targets for 2004 and 2005 were higher than those for 2003 when the figures were 118.80 mm bpd and 60.1 mm kiloliters respectively.
