Russia cuts oil export duties

Per December 1, 2003, the Russian government will cut export duties on oil and oil products. According to the Government Information Department, a corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Mikhail Kasyanov on November 15, 2003.
Under the decree, the export duty on oil will be reduced from $ 33.8 per ton to $ 31.2 per ton, and the export duty on oil products will be cut from $ 30.4 per ton to $ 28.1 per ton.
